# ZTrade Verifiable Documents

**ZTrade Verifiable Documents** are part of Zetrix’s blockchain-powered solution designed to digitize and authenticate cross-border trade documents. **ZTrade Verifiable Documents** refer to blockchain-secured digital representations of trade-related documents (e.g., certificates of origin, customs declarations, invoices) issued and verified using Zetrix as the platform. These documents:

* Are issued by authorized institutions (e.g., government agencies, chambers of commerce).
* Leverage **Verifiable Credentials (VCs)** and **Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs)** to ensure document authenticity.
